My passion lies in nurturing these relationships through teaching, mentoring, and professional development. I work with individuals at all levels, from first-year college students to seasoned professionals, across diverse cultures and backgrounds.

As children, we are shaped by what we observe and endure—often with little control. But as adults, we gain the power to make new choices that help us move forward. This requires us to let go of old patterns so we can embrace new growth. Every one of us carries “things”—the emotional weights, patterns, or past experiences that keep us from living fully....

Over my 14 years as an educator, I have observed firsthand how mental health influences student engagement and performance. Students bring to the classroom a range of experiences shaped by their home environments, socio-economic circumstances, and personal challenges. For instance, I have taught a student experiencing homelessness.
